R. Anthony Warner has been involved in the design and construction of over 100 solar PV projects worldwide.  The systems ranged from residential sized systems (3 kWh – 10 kWh) to industrial sized systems (500 kWh – 650 kWh).

  • Assessments to determine if a solar PV system is economically feasible
  • Structural and electrical assessments
  • Preliminary design of solar PV systems
  • Detailed engineering design and drawings of a solar PV system required for applicable approvals from authorities having jurisdiction
  • Identify capital cost, life cycle operating costs, estimate savings, return on investment, and payback periods associated with the installation of a solar PV system
  • Construction support during installation of a solar PV system

600 kW Rooftop Solar PV System

Anthony managed a project for a 600 kW rooftop solar PV system to be installed at a 320,000 sq. ft. industrial building in Midland, Ontario.  The project involved a structural assessment of the roof and supporting structures to determine its adequacy to support the superimposed loads of the proposed solar PV system.  Anthony managed the complete electrical and structural engineering design, drawings, and specifications including panel layout, ballast drawings, single line diagram, DC system plan and AC and DC equipment and cabling.

5 kW Ground Mounted Solar PV System

The Beattitudes Home is an orphanage that received only 1 hour of electricity per day, which was provided by a diesel generator.  Anthony oversaw a project, in partnership with the York Regional Police, for the installation of a 5 kW ground mounted solar PV system at The Beattitudes Home in Mount Tibor, Jamaica.  The solar PV system is a stand alone system that supplies the building with the much needed running electricity.
