Anthony Warner is a consulting engineer entrepreneur, responsible for the operational and financial management of several firms. He is currently President & CEO of Warner Levy EnviroEnergy Inc., a firm he founded that specializes in renewable energy and energy efficiency systems, and President & CEO of VIRTUAL Engineers, a multi-discipline consulting engineering firm that he founded that delivers elegant efficient engineering solutions. He is a Strategic Consultant for Warner Levy, a strategic global business planning firm that utilized innovation, equipment trade, recruiting using mathematical matching models for engineering recruiting and management and CEO of Warner Levy & Company Limited, which dealt with investments in industrial technologies innovation.
Knowledge sharing is important to Anthony, and has shared his knowledge and experience to the budding entrepreneurs and engineers in the community. He was a mentor at the Ontario Centres of Excellence Discovery 2012 Mentoring Event for Entrepreneurs and Innovators; he delivered advice about R&D funding and managing financial responsibilities, developing expertise to innovate and invent, and motivating personnel and utilizing intellectual resources for creative ideas. He was a motivational speaker at POWER Expo 2012 on the topic “Knowledge is Power”. He has participated as an accreditation team member for the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB).
Anthony was registered as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario in 1992 and as a Consulting Engineer in 2004. He is licensed to practice in five (5) major Canadian Provinces.
He is an active member of PEO. He was elected as PEO East Central Regional Councillor in 2000 for a 2 year term. He was a candidate for PEO President in 2006 and has served as an Adjudicator on the Discipline Committee since 2000. He serves in a similar capacity for the Certified Management Accountants (CMA) now unified Chartered Professional Accountants CPA Ontario.
Anthony Warner is a Consulting Engineer with a B.Sc. (Honours) in Chemical Engineering from the University of the West Indies, a Joint M.Sc./M.B.A. in Operations Research Industrial Engineering from Columbia University, New York and Post Graduate Management Studies in Canadian Finance, Accounting, Marketing and International Business from McGill University.
Anthony is a skilled communicator and negotiator, assets that are essential in today’s changing business and engineering environment.
